Escape to Create Ensemble
The Escape Ensemble was formed in 2017 by piano prodigy Jacob Mason while a student at the prestigious New England Conservatory of Music launching Escape to Create’s first invitational fellowship offered to advance the next generation of world-class classical musicians. The four ensemble members met as advanced Conservatory students in chamber studies. Each began their musical career at an early age and now at the average age of twenty, renowned pedagogues such as Yehudi Menuhin, Yo Yo Ma, Jason Snider and Kevin Kenner have mentored their careers. As solo and chamber performers, each member has won prominent national and international competitions and performed with leading orchestras and in distinguished concert halls in the U.S., Canada, South America, Asia and Europe.
During their January residency the Ensemble will perform Baroque and Renaissance liturgical masterpieces during weekly Sunday worship at The CHAPEL in Seaside. In addition to arts education appearances in schools throughout Walton County, the four will also visit schools in Okaloosa County in support of the educational initiatives of Sinfonia Gulf Coast, the Emerald Coast’s premier professional orchestra.
