Brook grew up in Kansas, graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a BFA in acting and directing, and worked at a number of regional theatres throughout the Midwest, including The Know Theatre of Cincinnati, The Old Creamery Theatre, The New Stage Collective, and The Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. He has called this part of Florida home for the past six years. Some of Brook’s favorite projects with The REP include The Turn of the Screw, Every Christmas Story Ever Told, The 39 Steps, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Around the World in 80 Days, Matt & Ben, The Tempest, The Stinky Cheese Man, Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, The Santaland Diaries, and The Homecoming.

John is enjoying his 13th season with The REP. His hobbies include live music, archival, special events production, continual maintenance of his VW camper, and his latest, vertical gardening. He is a student of mountain culture, and takes frequent trips for field study. He hopes you enjoy tonight’s production.

Aubrey Ainsworth – Director of Artistic Operations & Member Services

Although originally from Colorado, the Emerald Coast has served as Aubrey’s home base for the majority of her life, while spending time in Texas, Louisiana, and North Carolina. She graduated from the theatre program at Gulf Coast State College and received her B.A in Theatre Arts from Texas Tech University. For four years, she served as Assistant Director for the Imagination Children’s Theatre. In 2013, she worked with Gulf Coast State College as Stage Manager for Les Misérables, an experience that will always be near and dear to her heart. With the The REP, Aubrey serves as Artistic Associate, Company Stage Manager, and Costume Designer. Some of her stage management and costume design credits at The REP include Every Christmas Story Ever Told, Shipwrecked! An Entertainment, Commedia Robin Hood, and Sleeping Beauty. This season she continues as Costume Designer and Stage Manager for Commedia Rapunzel and The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales.

Erinn Stranko – Director of Marketing & Sponsorship

Erinn grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated with her B.A. in Liberal Arts from Langston University, and is due to graduate with her M.P.A. this Fall. She has dedicated her graduate studies to community arts and their link to both social and economic prosperity. Erinn’s love of theatre began in her high school stagecraft courses where she was led by instructor and mentor, Ricky Newkirk, who taught her the joy of bringing life to the stage through hammer and nail. She was the 2013 Walton Area Chamber’s Best Volunteer at their renowned Celebrity Waiter Dinner Fundraiser for her over the top performance of “White Rabbit” and sat as the Vice Chair on the Visit South Walton Tourist Development Council Arts & Culture Committee from 2013-2014. Erinn has been a volunteer with The REP since 2009, and has dedicated endless hours to the success of The REP for the love of the show. Some of her favorite REP productions include The Santaland Diaries, The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, Around the World in 80 Days, and Den of Thieves. In her free time she enjoys photographing strangers, petting every single dog, and meandering through state parks.

Kevin Boyle – Performer

Kevin is excited to return to the mainstage at The REP!  He’s also excited to use a seven year old headshot where he looks younger, thinner, and with less debt.  A graduate of Florida State University, Kevin performed improv and stand up comedy at the Rep for several years while performing in other stage productions including Fuddy Meers.  While he rarely performs comedy any more, he’s transferred his love for making people laugh and engaged to being creative with his own marketing firm, Poor Truman Creative.  He is married to his beautiful and saintly wife, Meagan, and father to amazingly cute Amelie Claire.  He writes about his new journey as a father in a column running in the 30A Kids Club magazine called The Poopshow.  He dedicates this show to his family and friends for their unwavering support.

Nicholas Collett – Playwright, Director, Performer

Nicholas is an award-winning actor, writer, producer and director.  Born and bred in Sheffield, graduated from Birmingham University and then trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where he won the Comedy Prize. His theatre work includes the RSC at the Barbican, Bombur in “The Hobbit” in the West End, Pod Clock in “The Borrowers” (UK No 1 Tour) and over 40 shows in repertory in Basingstoke, Ipswich, Jersey, Coventry, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Co-founder of Third Party Productions in 1992, he has toured from Belfast to Beirut and beyond, with 18 productions of Shakespeare and other classics and over 1000 performances. In 2010, he was nominated for ‘Best Actor’ by the Off West End awards for his title role in “Dr Faustus” at the New Diorama Theatre, which won the company a Peter Brook award. He has a fruitful partnership with Gavin Robertson – since 2011, together they have created five solo shows. Nicholas regularly tours his self-penned “Spitfire Solo”, “Nelson – The Sailors’ Story” and “Your Bard – an informal audience with Will Shakespeare in the pub” around the UK and abroad to Australia and the USA. “Nelson” won the Best of Kansas City 2015 Critics Choice Award. He has directed “Crusoe – No Man Is An Island” and “Bond – An Unauthorised Parody” for Gavin. Together they perform Gavin’s play “The Six-Sided Man” (a stage version of “The Dice Man”). He also recently co-produced and directed “Crazy Horse – A Dream Of Thunder” for the American actor Samn Wright. It premiered at Brighton Fringe in 2016 and won Best Solo Show at Kansas City Fringe. TV enthusiasts may remember him as Buster from BBC’s “Timebusters” – and as Sylvester the Jester in the new episode of “Knightmare” for Google Geek Week. He recently won the British Arrows Craft Award for Best Performance by an Actor for the Currys commercial “Laptop” with Jeff Goldblum.

Trent Loggins – Performer

Trent is thrilled to be returning for his third year of Every Christmas Story Ever Told with The REP. A graduate of the University of Montevallo’s Musical Theatre BFA program, he has traveled the country performing in several regional theatres. He was last seen onstage as Nathan Detroit in Round Barn Theatre’s production of Guys and Dolls, and a few other favorite roles include: Pa Lincoln — Young Abe Lincoln (Tour) with Birmingham Children’s Theatre, AL; Daniel — 7 Brides for 7 Brothers with Round Barn Theatre, IN; Ralph Malph — Happy Days: A New Musical with Trumpet In The Land, OH; and the title role in Pippin as his senior project with The University of Montevallo. In addition to performing onstage, Trent enjoys writing plays and composing music. He would like to thank his REP family for the continued opportunities they provide and his family and friends for their love and support.

Gavin Robertson – Playwright, Director, Performer

Gavin Robertson comes from a physical theatre background (Lecoq, Kemp and Gaulier), producing, creating, directing and performing his own work for national and international touring, usually funded by the Arts Council of England. He has created a diverse portfolio of productions including Spittoon, The Three Musketeers, The Six-Sided Man, Fantastical Voyage, I Am Who Am and Thunderbirds F.A.B., which played in London’s West End on six separate occasions between 1989 and 2002. Each of his productions has toured internationally via The British Council, independent producers and Festivals, including several tours to Japan, Australia and New Zealand, the USA, Singapore, Tunisia, Senegal and Morocco, as well as Hong Kong, Lebanon, Turkey, Oman, Brazil, Chile, Taiwan, Senegal, Costa Rica, USA, various European countries, and many others. Since 2002 he has also produced original productions for a younger audience beginning with Message in A Bottle, and followed by A Grimm World, funded by Arts Council England. These both toured the UK, with performances in Finland, Eire, and The Netherlands. In 2011, a third play was added (co-produced with Scene Productions)-Vampirates – based on the first book in the cult series by author, Justin Somper. He has made many worldwide TV appearances as part of his theatre career and his voice can be heard on various TV documentaries for the BBC and commercial channels. He is also a former Drama Advisor to the Arts Council of England, and former Board member of Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells in Sussex, UK. In 2012 he  produced Crusoe (a solo performance) in association with Nottingham Lakeside, and The Civic, Barnsley; and a third co-production with Scene Productions for UK touring, Fall of The House of Usher. Gavin is currently the Associate Director of The MET (Moscow English Theatre) in Russia, and a Theatre Professional at Eastbourne College in East Sussex, UK, where he also delivers the LAMDA Award and The Arts Award, managed by Trinity College in London in association with Arts Council England.

Kyle Walter – Performer & Production Assistant

Kyle is a recent graduate of the M.F.A Acting program at West Virginia University. He is excited to return to The REP, where previous credits include The 39 Steps, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Shipwrecked. Kyle also holds his Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from East Tennessee State University and has worked in theatres across the region including Unto These Hills, Blue Moon Dinner Theatre, and Trail of the Lonesome Pine. Some favorite shows have been Seminar, Killer Joe, Oedipus Rex, and The Liar. He enjoys bowling, fishing and playing guitar.
