Adam Kraar with Escape to Create
Brooklyn playwright Adam Kraar‘s scripts often dramatize cross-cultural connections and classes and examine the predicament of the outsider. His plays have been awarded by the National Repertory Theatre Foundation, and/or produced by the Alliance Repertory, New York Theatre Workshop and N.Y. Shakespeare Festival among many others. His works have appeared in five Best American Short Plays anthologies. Kraar is E2C’s first recipient of the Goody Playwrighting Fellowship. Intended to attract new works for development with The REP Theatre, Kraar will workshop final draft of his lyrical drama, Dream Of A Deer At Dusk. The play was designated 2014 Finalist at the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference. The REP will perform a rehearsed reading followed by a conversation with the Playwright.
